How long does the commission last?

Is there a cap on earnings?
No. There's no limit on how many players you can refer or how much you can earn.
How does attribution work?
Anyone who arrives through your tracked link and later subscribes is attributed to you automatically — no codes to redeem, nothing to reconcile by hand. Attribution is tied to the Stripe subscription itself, so recurring commission keeps paying as long as they stay.
I'm a chess coach — can I use this with my students?
Yes. Many coaches recommend BetterChess as structured practice between lessons: the student plays coached games during the week, you review the bigger picture in your sessions. Your affiliate link works the same way for students as for any other audience.
Do I need to tell my audience it's an affiliate link?
Yes. The FTC (and equivalent rules elsewhere) require you to disclose that you earn a commission when someone subscribes through your link. A simple "this is an affiliate link" near the link is enough — and your audience will trust you more for it.
